Ekocoil Optimizer site is a service for optimizing Ekocoil Group’s products. At this moment users can optimize dry coolers.

USER LICENSES
Ekocoil sales department grants user licenses for the Ekocoil Optimizer site. You may inquire them by email at optimizer@ekocoil.fi or by calling our sales department at +358 3 644 000.
PASSWORDS AND USER ACCOUNT MODIFICATIONS
You can request a new password in case you forgot your old one, from the login page by clicking the "forgot password" link. You need to supply your username and you will receive an email with a new password. After logging in, you may change your password from the File menu and then clicking Profile.
USER SUPPORT
Ekocoil sales department gives user support. You may inquire user support by email at optimizer@ekocoil.fi or by calling our sales department at +358 3 644 000.
BUGS
If you encounter a bug at the site, first make sure that you are using the latest version of your browser and that JavaScript has been turned on. If the bug is still relevant, please inform us by an email at tomi.pohjalainen@ekocoil.fi. Include information about your browser version, description of what happened and maybe even a screen capture.
PRINTING AND PRINTING PROBLEMS
Ekocoil Optimizer does printing by creating a pdf and then opening that to a new window. From there you can print it to a printer or save it as a file to your computer.
If you are unable to print out a selection, first make sure that you have a pdf reader software installed.
Second, make sure that you allow popups for the Ekocoil Optimizer site. Most browsers ask for a permission when the site tries to open a popup for the first time. After giving your browser the permission to opena popup, use the print command again.
If you are certain that the popups are allowed and you a have a up-to-date pdf reader, but still nothing happens, always try at least two times to start the print. If the pdf doesn’t open after the second time, first make sure that you don’t already have a print pdf open in another tab (or a window), because the browser can automatically refresh that tab (or a window) and it might seem like nothing happens. If this is not the case, please contact us (See BUGS).
SITE UPDATE AND DOWNTIME
The site will be update biweekly. These updates may include new features as well as bug fixes or other kind of maintenance. During the maintenance the site may be unreachable for about an hour. Maintenance will be made every second and fourth Monday, at 18-19 (6PM) Finnish time (EEST UTC/GMT+3 during the summer, EET UTC/GMT +2 during the winter).
We will try to inform about large feature updates in advance.

NEWSLETTER
Every user is automatically subscripted to an Ekocoil Optimizer newsletter. The newsletter is mostly used as a way for us to communicate changes, new features and downtime to our users.
The newsletter will be send monthly, but it may be used to inform you about sudden changes (if necessary).
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter, but we discourage that, as it is the only way for us to communicate changes in the Ekocoil Optimizer site to you.

BROWSERS
We recommend that you always use the latest version of your web browser.
The site have been tested to work with following browsers:
- Firefox 22 and newer.
- Internet Explorer 9 and newer. The site doesn’t work with Internet Explorer 8 or lower.
- Safari 7 and newer.
- Google Chrome 35 and newer.
- Opera 22 and newer.
The site need JavaScript support. The site also uses browser cache to save the optimization results temporarily to user’s machine.
SCREEN
The site has been designed to work in minimum at 1366x768 resolution and the site doesn’t scale well to much lower resolutions.
General terms and conditions
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF EKOCOIL OPTIMIZER SERVICE
By registering to and/or using the Ekocoil Optimizer service (service more accurately described below) user will accept these general terms and conditions. General terms and conditions concern registration and use of the Ekocoil Optimizer service as well as any content of the service thereof.
1. Acceptance of the Terms of Use
These terms of use (hereinafter “Terms”) shall apply for the use of Ekocoil Optimizer Service and related services (hereinafter “Ekocoil Optimizer Service” or “Service”) provided by Ekocoil Ltd. (Business ID 0732108-5) (hereinafter “Service Provider”) as users register and/or use (hereinafter “User”) Ekocoil Optimizer Service.
Service Provider has the right to amend these Terms from time to time at its sole discretion. These Terms incorporate, by this reference, Ekocoil Optimizer Service, Data Privacy Policy https://optimizer.ekocoil.fi/default/help as well as any other policies and rules published from time to time on Ekocoil Optimizer Service, each of which may also be amended by Service Provider from time to time and without separate notice to the User.
2. Contents and Use of the Service
Ekocoil Optimizer Service allows User to optimize choice between different heat exchangers offered by Service Provider’s appliance selection. User shall enter requested starting values to Ekocoil Optimizer Service according to which Ekocoil Optimizer Service presents User a proposition of appliance suitable for starting values. User is able to optimize appliance choice further by providing different criteria and/or starting values at its discretion. User shall be liable for validity of entered information and acknowledges that proposition provided by Service is based on information entered by User. Using Service for any other purpose other than described above is prohibited without specific written consent of Service Provider.
Service Provider reserves full right to expend or amend the contents of Ekocoil Optimizer Service or terminate Ekocoil Optimizer Service or part of it any time without separate notice.
The use of Ekocoil Optimizer Service requires registration to Ekocoil Optimizer Service. User registered to Ekocoil Optimizer Service may utilize Ekocoil Optimizer Service features without compensation.
Service Provider is unable to guarantee reliable access to Ekocoil Optimizer Service at all times and shall not be liable of any damages, expenses and costs resulting from this. Regardless of the actions of Service Provider Ekocoil Optimizer Service may suffer from disruptions caused by e.g. maintenance or system failures or general network failures.
3. Registration
Service Provider provides user names for Ekocoil Optimizer Service registration. User must be a natural person, at least 18 years old and legally competent in order to register as a User in Ekocoil Optimizer Service as a private person or as representative of an organization. If same organization has multiple Users all Users must register as individual Users. The use of Ekocoil Optimizer Service with false personal data is prohibited and Service Provider shall not be liable of any misuse of personal information or damages resulting from that. User shall be solely liable of any misuse of personal information or damages resulting from that. Registration is free of charge.
Service Provider reserves a right to deny access or amend User’s right to use and access Ekocoil Optimizer Service any time and amend the requirements for using and registering to Ekocoil Optimizer Service at its sole discretion. User’s right to use Service is personal for a registered User and User shall not transfer this right to any third party.
By registering to Ekocoil Optimizer Service User grants Service Provider full rights to collect and utilize all data and material provided, saved and distributed by User on Ekocoil Optimizer Service according to these Terms.
User also accepts and acknowledges that User will became Service Provider’s customer and User’s information will registered into Service Provider’s user and customer register. Information in user and customer register will be used and disclosed as presented in Ekocoil Optimizer Service Data Privacy Policy.
4. Terms of Use
User is solely responsible for any and all activities that occur in the User’s Ekocoil Optimizer Service account including the confidentiality of Service password. User shall immediately notify Service Provider of any possible unauthorized use of Service account or password as well as of any security breach or other violation of Service or information thereof of which the User is aware of. At all times User is responsible for providing service account with accurate and up to date information.
User hereby agrees not to use Ekocoil Optimizer Service in any way or take any action as a consequence of which the information, data or content submitted on or through the Service:
a) is misleading, untruthful, inaccurate or false;
b) includes information of other person’s identification or other sensitive situation;
c) infringes Service Provider’s or any third party intellectual property right of any kind;
d) may contain software viruses or similar harmful components that may damage in any way the proper function of any software, hardware or system, without limitation; or
e) in any other way does not comply with these Terms or is not in accordance with good practice.
The User shall not, in any way (i) produce, save, distribute or publish data or material on Ekocoil Optimizer that User has no sufficient intellectual property rights on (ii) use or utilize Ekocoil Optimizer Service in a way that it might infringe intellectual property rights or other rights of Service Provider or third party ( iii) rent, lease, distribute, or otherwise transfer or copy any of the rights received under these Terms or (iv) transfer any information on appliance propositions or any other information received from Ekocoil Optimizer Service to a third party (excluding the organization the User is representing) (iiv) use Ekocoil Optimizer Service for any other purpose than described in these Terms or in any way violate these Terms.
User hereby agrees that it shall be liable to pay any and all damages, direct or indirect, caused to Service Provider or any third party as a result of the violating use of these Terms. In the event of a breach of these Terms or for security reasons or any other reason Service Provider is entitled at any time and without prior notice to read, amend, alter, deny access or delete content on Ekocoil Optimizer Service or User’s service account temporarily or permanently.
5. Rights and liabilities of Service Provider and User
In addition to the rights and liabilities of Service Provider and the User stated in these Terms the following is stated:
The User is responsible for all liabilities, costs and expenses arising from the use of Ekocoil Optimizer Service to the User. User has the right to terminate the service account any time, at which time it will be removed from use. Despite of the termination of service account Service Provider reserves the right to preserve and utilize data and material on service account according to these Terms.
Service Provider has no obligation to review any of the content, data or information the User has entered on Ekocoil Optimizer Service. Service Provider shall not be responsible for of any content, data or information provided, saved or distributed by the User on or through the Service. Service Provider does not warrant that any such content, data or information is valid or reliable (including starting values entered by the User). Service Provider is not liable for applicability of appliance propositions, validity of price or other calculations or validity of any information or material or fitness for certain purpose or situation provided on or through Ekocoil Optimizer Service. Service Provider shall not be liable to pay any damages, direct or indirect, caused to User or any third party as a result of information or material received through Ekocoil Optimizer Service.
User shall not link Ekocoil Optimizer Service to any third party web site or use Ekocoil Optimizer Service jointly with any other service without Service Providers’ separate, explicit and written consent.
User accepts explicitly than while using Ekocoil Optimizer Service User may receive advertisement via mail, mobile phone, e-mail, Internet or other by Service Provider
6. Limitation of Liability
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER IN TORT, CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, SHALL SERVICE PROVIDER BE LIABLE TO THE USER OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR ANY AND ALL OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, EVEN IF SERVICE PROVIDER SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY OTHER PARTY.
THE EKOCOIL OPTIMIZER SERVICE AND ANY CONTENT, DATA AND INFORMATION IN THE EKOCOIL OPTIMIZER SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OF IMPLIED INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SERVICE PROVIDER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE EKOCOIL OPTIMIZER SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION, DEFECT OR ERROR FREE OR THAT CONTENT, DATA OR INFORMATION OF ANY KIND AVAILABLE ON OR THROUGH THE EKOCOIL OPTIMIZER SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
7. Intellectual Property Rights of Service Provider
Ekocoil Optimizer Service contains data and material protected by copy rights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. Ekocoil Optimizer Service in itself is protected by copy rights. User acknowledges that any and all intellectual property rights included in the Ekocoil Optimizer Service shall be owned by and remain vested in Service Provider and registering or using the Service or nothing in these Terms of Use shall be interpreted as to an assignment or transfer of ownership or any other right of any Intellectual Property Rights hereunder to the User.
Service Provider hereby grants to the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable and limited license to use the Service Provider’s intellectual property rights free of charge included or related to the Ekocoil Optimizer Service only to the extent necessary for the User to be able to utilize the Service. User shall not have the right to transfer the license to use the Service to any third party or in any other way use or utilize the intellectual property rights. Service Provider shall reserve all rights not explicitly granted to the User according to these Terms.
User undertakes to indemnify and to keep Service Provider and any third party fully indemnified against all damages, costs and expenses, direct or indirect, incurred by Service Provider or any third party as a result of any breach by User of these Terms.
8. Grant of rights by the User
By registering on Ekocoil Optimizer Service and providing, saving and distributing content, data and information on Ekocoil Optimizer Service the User grants the Service Provider a transferable, licensable, perpetual, worldwide and non-exclusive right to use and fully exploit and distribute on or through Service, free of charge, any and all content, data and information available on Ekocoil Optimizer Service according to these Terms.
9. Indemnification
The User agrees to hold harmless, indemnify and defend Service Provider, its officers, directors, agents, affiliates, shareholders and employees from and against any third party losses, damages, fines, expenses, attorneys fees and costs arising out of or resulting from (i) the User’s breach of these Terms or third party rights and/or (ii) any other liabilities and damages resulting from the User’s acts under these Terms, including but not limited to, any violation of Service Provider’s Immaterial Property Rights or any other rights.
User shall notify Service Provider promptly in writing if it becomes aware of a claim by a third party and, at its sole discretion, Service Provider may, but is not obliged to, take control over its defense or settlement and the User shall provide all information and assistance necessary in the defense of Service Provider.
10. Reform of provisions and severability
Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time at its sole discretion. The most current versions of the Terms and the policies may be reviewed from https://optimizer.ekocoil.fi/default/help.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable due to legislation change or any reason, such provision shall be reformed by Service Provider to make it enforceable and such decision shall not affect the enforceability of the remaining provisions hereof.
11. Governing Law and Arbitration
The contract set forth between Service Provider and the User by these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland disregarding the choice of law rules. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the contract or these Terms and parties are unable to settle them by themselves, shall be finally settled by an expedited arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Finnish Central Chamber of Commerce by one (1) sole arbitrator in Helsinki, Finland, unless the parties otherwise agree.
Privacy statement
DATA PRIVACY POLICY
Collection, save, use or distribute of personal data of the members registered in the EkoCoil Optimizer Service Ekocoil Ltd. complies with and follows the Finnish Personal Data Act (1999/523) as well as this Data Privacy Policy, which also serves as a joint file description and information documents meant in the Personal Data Act.
1. Name of the Register, Data processing, Registrar and Contact Person
Ekocoil Ltd. holds a register of the members registered into the EkoCoil Optimizer Service in order to maintain the personal and other information of, as well as to administer the membership of, each member and clients of EkoCoil Ltd.

2. Sources and Content of Registered Data
The Register includes at least the following information of each member registered in the EkoCoil Optimizer Service:
- Contact information including but not limited to name, address, phone number and e-mail
- Company name if member is a representative of a company
- User name and password
- Account information
- Profile information
In addition each member may, at its own free will, add other personal information of itself.
Information is collected at the registration into the EkoCoil Optimizer Service or added by a member later on. All information (excluding the localization information) at the register is given by a member itself. Further, each member is responsible that the information given is up to date and correct.
3. Distribution of Data
All data may be distributed to co-operatives of EkoCoil Ltd that provide services for members in the EkoCoil Optimizer Service.
Data may distributed in connection with
- Use of EkoCoil Optimizer Service
- Research and compilation of statistics
- Marketing including direct marketing and remote sales and for market research and surveys.
Ecokoil Ltd. may distribute, also outside the European Union and European Economic Area, any and all information in the register to such third parties for above mentioned purposes. Each member in the register consents to the distribution to third parties meant here at the registration. In addition EkoCoil Ltd. may disclose the information in the register to authorities or other third party as may be required by the applicable law or an order of a regulatory body of competent authority.
4. Data Protection
Register is an ADP-based register. Only persons who need to have an access to the register in order to secure the technical operations of the services offered have an access secured with a personal user name and password. Persons having an access to the register are bound by confidentiality obligations.
5. Rights of the Registrants
Right to check the Data
Every member has a right to check the personal information collected in the register. Check request shall be submitted to registrar at contact information first written above.
Updating the information
Each member is responsible that the information given in the EkoCoil Optimizer Service, and therefore entered into the register, is up to date and correct. If the member notices that register includes incorrect information, member has to immediately correct the information.
Right of prohibition
Each member in the register has the right to prohibit the use of its personal data for direct advertising, remote sate or other direct marketing as well as for marketing research and surveys. If the member wishes to use the right to prohibit the use of the data in the foregoing situations, the member shall submit the notice of prohibition in written to the registrar. Member accepts that the functionality of the EkoCoil Optimizer Service may be limited if member limits the data usage. Registrar may, on its sole discretion, remove user name and close member account if data usage is limited by the member. A member may continue use of EkoCoil Optimizer Service by opening a new account and user name.
6. Amendments to Data Privacy Policy
EkoCoil Ltd. may at its own discretion to amend these Data Privacy Policy or any other policy of the EkoCoil Optimizer Service. Unless expressly otherwise informed the Policies and/or other terms from time to time at the webpage https://optimizer.ekocoil.fi/default/help shall be valid.
